DERIC KRAMER

Growing up in Colorado, Deric Kramer's love for drag racing started at an early age. He made his racing debut at just eight years old after receiving a 1993 Spitzer Junior Dragster for his birthday. After a successful run in Junior Dragsters, Deric continued racing throughout his younger years before earning his competition license in his father's A/ED Fritz Dragster.

Deric returned to competition in 2007 behind the wheel of an American Ethanol rear-engine dragster. That same year, he earned his first Wally at Yellowstone Drag Strip while competing in Comp Eliminator. In 2010, he added another accomplishment to his career when he became an NHRA national record holder in the class.

In 2012, Deric made the move to NHRA Pro Stock and has spent more than a decade competing in one of the toughest classes in drag racing. In 2017, Deric also earned the nickname "Burnout King" for his long, crowd-pleasing burnouts that quickly became a fan favorite.

Outside of the driver's seat, Deric has a strong background in technology and coding. His interest in programming and problem-solving fits his analytical personality and the way he approaches racing. Whether he is working with technology or studying data from a run, Deric enjoys understanding how things work and finding ways to improve.

Today, Deric competes behind the wheel of the Get BioFuel Chevrolet Camaro, powered by KB Titan Racing engines. His years of experience, technical mindset, and passion for drag racing continue to make him a strong competitor and a familiar face in the NHRA Pro Stock pits.
